New Season at the History Masterclass
1st September 2017
NEWS FROM HISTORY MASTERCLASS
In this new season of History Masterclass, we have some outstanding new events, an exciting new venue, and important changes to our prices.
New prices. To make our excellent History Masterclasses accessible to more people, we have slightly increased the number of tickets available – still keeping our events small enough to be intimate and interactive – and we have brought down the price of our tickets. We have also introduced new, lower-price concessionary tickets, and a limited number of fantastically competitive super early-bird tickets for those who are quick off the mark.
New venue. We have a new venue: the prestigious Club at the Ivy (which is fully accessible to wheelchair users). Not only has The Ivy opened up its doors to our History Masterclassers, but they are offering you the opportunity to buy a ticket for the Masterclass that also includes lunch their exclusive restaurant, The Drawing Room at The Club at The Ivy (which shares its kitchens and quality with the famous restaurant downstairs). Tickets without lunch are also available. Our first event at The Club at the Ivy – with the acclaimed historian Dan Jones to talk on the Knights Templar – will be on 21 October 2017.
New speakers. We are also very excited to be welcoming Professor Frank McDonough to talk about his thrilling research on The Gestapo – on 4 November – and award-winning historian David Olusoga to be examining the forgotten history of 2,000 Years of Black British History – on 2 December.
New events every month. Every month, on 1st of the month, we will be releasing new events, so check back in to grab yourself a super early-bird or early-bird discounted ticket, before they all go!
